Keepling (“the app”, “we”, “us”) helps parents keep small moments of their child growing up. We designed Keepling to be private by default. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
Keepling is intended for use by parents and guardians (adults). It is not directed to children and is not intended to be used by children. The app may contain information that a parent chooses to record about their child; that content is controlled by the parent (see below).
Everything you create in Keepling — your child’s name and date of birth, notes, photos, voice recordings, moods and milestones — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive or store this content, and we cannot see it.
If you choose to connect Google Drive (a premium feature), Keepling creates a
single backup file and stores it in your Drive’s hidden, app-private
appDataFolder. We request only the drive.appdata permission, which limits the
app to this private folder — Keepling cannot read the rest of your Google
Drive. The backup lives in your Google account, not ours. You can delete it
at any time from your Google account’s app-data settings.
The free version shows ads via Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and use a device advertising identifier and related data. Please review Google’s advertising policy. Where required (e.g. in the EEA/UK), you will be asked for consent. Subscribing to Keepling Premium removes ads.
Keepling Premium is sold as a subscription processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details; payment is handled by Google.
You can export a backup or a PDF album using your device’s share sheet. When you do, you choose the destination (Drive, Files, email, etc.). That action is entirely under your control.
Uninstalling Keepling removes all data stored on your device. To remove a Google Drive backup, delete the app data from your Google account (drive.google.com → Settings → Manage apps), or use the in-app disconnect option.
Any information about a child that a parent records is treated as the parent’s personal content: stored locally and, if enabled, in the parent’s own Google Drive. We do not collect it, sell it, or share it.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
